Thanks for taking the trouble to have a look, and also thanks for your kind words. Particularly gratifying that they strike you as being ‘traditional’ in the broader sense of the word. That was my (somewhat nervous) intention, but it’s a very charged area in (oral) storytelling circles. Strange, when it seems not to be a problem for folk musicians to compose new works in traditional forms. Maybe it’s that music is less tied to ‘meaning’, but I suspect it’s simply that the folk revival is some 20 years older than the current storytelling revival, and people have calmed down a bit!
